Salary: $20.00 hourly for 40 to 45 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Aurora, ON
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Morning
Transportation information: Willing to travel regularly and public transportation is available
Work setting: Landscape contractor and various locations
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Own tools/equipment: Safety equipment/gear, steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, and gloves
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, in wet or damp conditions, and in dusty environments, as well as being tolerant of various odors and hot temperatures
- The candidates should be prepared to handle repetitive tasks and be physically capable of meeting demanding physical requirements, including tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in their work approach and be reliable in fulfilling their responsibilities, fostering collaboration within the team and consistently putting in their best effort
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assist with landscape constructions, weed, prune, and trim trees and plants, as well as cut grass
- The candidates should be able to cart and spread topsoil and other materials, as well as operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment
