Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be willing to work outdoors as part of their responsibilities
- The candidates should demonstrate a high level of attention to detail in tasks and assignments
- The candidates should be accustomed to performing repetitive tasks as part of their responsibilities
- The candidates should be physically fit to handle the demands of a physically demanding role
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be organized, maintaining a systematic approach to tasks and responsibilities
- The candidates should be reliable, consistently meeting commitments and expectations
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides, and other lawn care products
- The candidates should be able to apply various treatments such as pruning, spraying, repairing damaged areas, and injecting with treatment solutions, and assess the health of lawns
- The candidates should be able to direct crews who maintain the health and appearance of golf courses and their surrounding landscapes, examine trees and shrubs to diagnose problems and diseases
- The candidates should be able to plan and coordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental uses, and other purposes, and plan and construct landscaped environments which may include trees, shrubberies, lawns, fences, decks, patios, and other landscape structures
- The candidates should be able to plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens, and plant and move trees
