Shifts: Day, Evening, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Valid driver’s license
Work setting: Lawn care company, Various locations
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be physically demanding, and repetitive taskers
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to work in a noisy area, odors, and outdoors
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
- The candidates should be able to apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides and other lawn care products
- The candidates should be able to assess the health of lawns
- The candidates should be able to plan and construct landscaped environments which may include trees, shrubbery, lawns, fences, decks, patios, and other landscape structures
- The candidates should be able to plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens
- The candidates should be able to plant and move trees
- The candidates should be able to clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
