Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or Intermediate or a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 3-6 years of corporate/commercial experience gained from a major law firm or company
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be experienced with technology and IP licenses, which is an asset
- The candidates should be experienced with indefeasible rights of use, which is an asset
- The candidates should be experienced in the telecommunications industry, which is an asset
- The candidates should be experienced with rights of way and municipal access agreements, which is an asset
- The candidates should have strong written and oral communication skills
- The candidates should have a strong work ethic with the ability to multitask and prioritize requests in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should have a strong ability to explain legal issues in simple terms
- The candidates should demonstrate business acumen
- The candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and be a team player

- The candidates should have a strong sense of organization with a keen attention to detail and accuracy
- The candidates should have an ability to distill complex legal issues into simple decisions and advise internal stakeholders accordingly
- The candidates should have an interest in and understanding of intellectual property and privacy issues
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to support Rogers’ various business units, principally responsible for providing legal and strategic support to Rogers Business, which provides products and services to enterprise and wholesale customers
- The candidates should be able to work on a broad range of corporate/commercial matters supporting Rogers’ network, wholesale, enterprise sales, and carrier relations teams, working at the forefront of building and maintaining Rogers’ industry-leading fiber network
