Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates should have completed post-secondary, preferably in a related field such as Marketing or Business Administration
Experience: Candidates should have experience in customer service
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should have the physical ability to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) and carry items weighing up to 15.9 kg (35 lb) regularly throughout the day
- The candidate should have the ability to work in all types of weather
- The candidate should have the availability to be on-call
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should have a valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s licence with a safe driving record for at least 3 years (driver’s abstract required)
- The candidate should have an experience in making deliveries or working as a driver
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to start their day in the depot, sorting and preparing the day’s deliveries
- The candidates should be able to load and drive a Canada Post postal vehicle
- The candidates should be able to spend most of their day outside, delivering mail and packages by foot or by vehicle to customers on their route
- The candidates should then return to the depot to unload the day’s incoming mail and packages for later delivery
