Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: The following educational qualifications are required for this post: Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a residential care setting will be preferred.
Security Screening: Before starting work, a criminal record check and/or Vulnerable Sector Search must meet satisfactory standards. Furthermore, all staff members are responsible for continuously revealing any accusations or convictions that may arise while employed at AHS.

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be a part of an interprofessional health care team utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to provide safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS.
