Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring they meet appropriate standards and specifications, including preparing dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, following specific dietary requirements
- The candidates should plan menus, determine food portions and costs, and monitor and order supplies to maintain efficient kitchen operations, inspecting kitchens and food service areas regularly for cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance
- The candidates should train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling, order supplies and equipment as needed, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers, delegating tasks to ensure smooth operation and timely service, while maintaining accurate inventory records and cleaning kitchen areas thoroughly
