Salary: $15.25 to $19.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 44 to 60 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Brossard, QC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning
Work setting: Work in employer’s/client’s home
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Registered Apprenticeship certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Credentials: Health Care Aide Certificate and Personal Support Worker Certificate
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be focused on client needs and should demonstrate flexibility
- The candidates should be organized and exhibit reliability
- The candidates should possess patience and demonstrate honesty
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene with care and sensitivity
- The candidate should be able to launder clothing and household linens according to instructions and standards
- The candidate should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties efficiently
- The candidate should provide companionship to clients, fostering a supportive and respectful relationship
- The candidate should provide personal care to clients with dignity and compassion
- The candidate should be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals that meet dietary requirements and preferences
- The candidate should be able to cook meals, demonstrating culinary skills and creativity
