Salary: $23.00 to $25.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week

Work setting: Employer’s home, Staff accommodation available, Staff accommodation provided, and Work in employer’s/client’s home
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Credentials: International English Language Testing System (IELTS) proficiency test
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should not be smokers, be scent-free, and be able to lift weights of up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be willing to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and shop for food and household supplies
- The candidates should be ready to travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties, and wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens.
- The candidates should be ready to care for pets, bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, caring for foster children, and discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- The candidates should be ready to instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, and keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
- The candidates should be committed to maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home, organize activities such as games and outings for children, and prepare and serve nutritious meals
- The candidates should be ready to prepare infants and children for rest periods
- The candidates should be willing to sterilize bottles, prepare formulas, and change diapers for infants
- The candidates should be able to supervise and care for children
- The candidates should be ready to take children to and from school and to appointments
- The candidates should be attentive to the emotional well-being of children
- The candidates should be willing to help children with homework
