Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to manage finances or budget
- The candidates should be able to recruit, train, and supervise staff
- The candidates should be able to arrange for shipping documentation and track and trace goods in transit
- The candidates should be able to ensure transport compliance with regulations
- The candidates should be able to establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods
- The candidates should be able to monitor the company’s or department’s performance, prepare reports for senior management, and plan for changes to schedules and policies
- The candidates should be able to negotiate for services and preferential rates
- The candidates should be able to oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods
- The candidates should be able to oversee the setting of transportation service rates and monitor revenue
- The candidates should be able to plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations
- The candidates should be able to organize and maintain inventory
- The candidates should be able to record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
