It started as a small, local company, and has grown to new heights today. Now the company is serving all over British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan. But that’s just in Canada, the company also serves in Washington, Oregon and North Dakota in the U.S. It is known to have one of the most experienced employees and three different ports. The company has three operating ports in Abbotsford, BC, Spruce Grove, AB and Winnipeg, MB.
The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible. The job is a verified student job. The vacancies refer to full time or permanent employment. The candidates have to work in Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Overtime, Early Morning and Morning
shifts.

Requirements:
Languages: English
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset.
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.):
Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks), Air Brakes Endorsement
Documentation Knowledge:
Accident or incident reports, Trip reports, Trans-border documentation, Maintenance and repair reports, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Dangerous goods occurrence reports, Driver logbook, Bill of lading
Communication Systems Experience:
Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment, Trip recorder (on-board computer), Citizens band (CB) radio
Weight Handling:
Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Security and Safety:
Bondable, Driver’s validity licence check, Driving record check (abstract), Medical exam, Drug test, Criminal record check, Basic security clearance, Valid passport
Own Tools/Equipment:
Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Cellular phone

- The candidate should be able to perform preventive maintenance
- The candidate should be able to perform emergency roadside repairs
- The candidate should be able to pay and receive payments for goods
- The candidate should be able to perform brake adjustments; Load and unload goods
- The candidate should be able to drive lighter and special purpose trucks
- The candidate should be able to receive and relay information to the central dispatch
- The candidate should be able to operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- The candidate should be able to tarping and ensure the safety and security of cargo
- The candidate should be able to drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
- The candidate should be able to oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
- The candidate should be able to arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations
- The candidate should be able to obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
- The candidate should be able to record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
- The candidate should be able to perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
