We work with running freight hauling business from Vancouver to various other locations. We are known to deliver products, of every condition, with full-safety and at least time possible. Salary: $27.50 hourly for 40 to 60 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Overtime, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel cross-border, Willing to travel for extended periods, Willing to travel overnight, Valid driver’s licence, Travel expenses paid by employer
Work Location Information: Various locations
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates don’t need standard education qualification such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Candidates need Driver’s License (Class 1 or A), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement and Air Brakes Endorsement
Documentation Knowledge: Accident or incident reports, Trip reports, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Driver logbook
Communication Systems Experience: Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment, Trip recorder (on-board computer) and Citizens band (CB) radio
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Security and Safety: Driver’s validity licence check, Driving record check (abstract), Medical exam, Drug test, Criminal record check, Valid passport
Own Tools/Equipment: Cellular phone
Type of Trucking and Equipment: Tractor-trailer, Dry bulk
Transportation/Travel Experience: International, Long-haul
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to perform repetitive tasks
- The candidate should be able to pay attention to detail
- The candidate should be able to handle large workloads
- The candidate should be able to work for overtime
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to mountain driving expertise
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to receive and relay information to central dispatch
- The candidate should be able to tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
- The candidate should be able to drive as part of a two-person team or convienent
- The candidate should be able to oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
- The candidate should be able to perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
