Salary: $18.00 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: 1076 Elmwood drive Moncton, NB E1H 2H2
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Early Morning, Morning
Work setting: Nursing home/home for the aged

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to supply and empty bedpans efficiently, ensuring patients’ comfort and hygiene, serve meal trays, and feed patients with care and attention to dietary requirements
  • The candidates should be able to weigh, lift, turn, and position patients safely according to established protocols, make beds, and maintain patients’ rooms in a clean and organized manner
  • The candidates should be able to supervise patients’ exercise routines, ensuring they are performed safely and effectively, maintain inventory of supplies to ensure adequate stock levels for patient care, and bathe, dress, and groom patients with respect for their dignity and privacy
  • The candidates should be able to transport patients in wheelchairs or stretchers, prioritizing their comfort and safety, answer call signals promptly to determine patients’ needs and provide assistance accordingly, and accompany patients on outside recreational activities, promoting their well-being and comfort
