Salary: $21.00 to $22.20 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Québec, QC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Overtime, Morning
Work setting: Furniture manufacturing company

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable working in noisy environments
  • The candidates should be capable of working in dusty conditions as part of their responsibilities
  • The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads as required for the job
  • The candidates should be physically fit to meet the demands of a physically demanding role
  • The candidates should possess manual dexterity for tasks requiring precision and skill
  • The candidates should demonstrate a high level of attention to detail in tasks and assignments
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods during their work

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to set up, program, and operate one or more computerized or manual woodworking machines
  • The candidates should be able to fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures, and other wood products
  • The candidates should be able to operate gluing machines to glue pieces of wood together or press and affix wood veneer to wood surfaces
  • The candidates should be able to operate preset special-purpose woodworking machines to fabricate wood products
  • The candidates should be able to read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions
  • The candidates should be able to clean and lubricate machinery and equipment.
  • The candidates should be able to replace parts as required
