J&J and sons Express Ltd provides reliable and efficient logistics and transportation services to businesses and individuals across different regions. We have a reputation for delivering packages and cargo on time and in excellent condition. We have a fleet of well-maintained trucks and experienced drivers who are trained to handle different types of cargo. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $18.00 to $18.01 hourly (to be negotiated) 30 to 44 hours per week
Employment Type: Term or contract Full time
Location: Kingston, ON
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Overtime
Transportation information: Own transportation, Vehicle supplied by employer, Valid driver’s licence
Work setting: Urban area, Courier company
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Cellular phone
Security and safety: Basic security clearance, Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and be physically demanding
- The candidates should be able to work in tight deadlines with attention to detail
- The candidates should be willing to for overtime
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to work in outdoors
- The candidates should be able to work on/with motor vehicles
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be dependable, organized, initiative, flexible, reliable, and judgmental
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
- The candidates should be able to do professionalism in customer service, and use maps and other trip planning aids
- The candidates should be able to accept payment or invoices for items delivered, perform administrative tasks
- The candidates should be able to deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand
- The candidates should be able to provide customer service, sort packages, and follow directions and read map
