Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience: Candidates should have Janitorial experience
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have a driver’s license
- The candidates should demonstrate mechanical aptitude
- The candidates should possess manual dexterity
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to check the daily schedule for routine tasks
- The candidates should be able to clean floors in offices, break room, restrooms, production floor, and other areas of the facility. They should change scrubber water frequently to keep dust at a minimum
- The candidates should be able to empty trash from designated areas throughout the Lab and operate trash and cardboard compactors
- The candidates should be able to follow location procedures and standards for the performance of duties, as well as safety and security procedures
- The candidates should be able to respond quickly to clean up spills
- The candidates should be able to clean facility light fixtures regularly, change light bulbs, wash windows, upper walls, and ceilings, and vacuum rafters periodically
- The candidates should be able to assist in grounds maintenance, such as blowing leaves, picking up litter, conducting roof checks, participating in snow and ice removal, assisting with painting, and performing concrete floor repairs throughout the lab
- The candidates should be able to monitor cleaning supplies and restock them as necessary, as well as receive and place merchandise in the appropriate department
- The candidates should be able to follow proper Optical Lab and general safety and security procedures and standards
- The candidates should be able to provide prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees, and suppliers, including submitting pieces or other requests
- The candidates should be able to understand and operate the maintenance system Interal
- The candidates should be able to perform store inventory
- The candidates should be able to handle internal and external purchases
