Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have educational qualifications such as 4th Class Power Engineer Certification or equivalent
Experience: Candidates should have experience in an industrial environment
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be available on call as needed, even though they work a scheduled work week
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be certified as Industrial Electrician or Industrial Mechanic to be given priority
- The candidates should be team players who also have the proven ability to work independently
- The candidates should possess strong technical, mechanical, and diagnostic skills
- The candidates should demonstrate an efficient and practical approach to solve mechanical and electrical issues
- The candidates should be highly motivated self-starters seeking professional development
- The candidates should have electrical and mechanical knowledge and/or experience
- The candidates should have experience with PLC and troubleshooting
- The candidates should have experience with plumbing and pipe fitting
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to complete all work assigned that is associated with maintenance, including maintenance of the building and premises, and boiler operations, as well as the production of dairy products, and monitor boiler operations
- The candidates should be able to repair, clean, and lubricate equipment, pumps, and compressors, and monitor and inspect equipment, repairing if required
- The candidates should be able to maintain a preventative maintenance schedule and carry out emergency maintenance activities as required
- The candidates should be able to ensure that equipment is running at optimal capacity through operational checks such as observation and visual checks, and assist with new installations and machine modifications
- The candidates should be able to resolve daily equipment problems and maintain work areas in a neat and tidy condition with particular attention to health and safety and food safety
