Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Budgetary responsibility: $100,001 – $500,000
Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic cash register, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Windows, MS Word, point of sale system, and spreadsheet
Credentials: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate and Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be adept at working in a fast-paced environment and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- The candidates should be efficient in performing repetitive tasks and capable of handling heavy loads and managing physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and be adaptable to a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods and able to manage a large workload
- The candidates should be willing to work overtime as required
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, conduct performance reviews, and participate in marketing plans and implementation
- The candidates should be able to balance cash, complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms, cost products and services, and develop, implement, and analyze budgets
- The candidates should be able to organize and maintain inventory, monitor revenues, and modify procedures and prices
- The candidates should be able to ensure health and safety regulations are followed, negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, and set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
- The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, provide customer service, and recruit, train, and supervise staff, as well as lead/instruct individuals
