Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be tolerant of various odors, as the job may involve exposure to different scents or smells
- The candidates should be comfortable working in cold or refrigerated environments, adhering to necessary precautions and protocols
- The candidates should be comfortable with repetitive tasks, maintaining attention to detail and precision
- The candidates should possess manual dexterity for tasks that require skilled hand movements
- The candidates should have hand-eye coordination for tasks that demand accurate visual and motor skills
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, as required by the job
- The candidates should be adept at thriving in a fast-paced environment, managing tasks efficiently
- The candidates should be physically fit to meet the demands of a physically demanding role
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure, maintaining composure and effectiveness in challenging situations
- The candidates should be capable of lifting weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as part of the job requirements

- The candidates should be team players, fostering collaboration and positive interactions within the team
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate food safety/handling skills
- The candidates should be able to transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials
- The candidates should be able to manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers
- The candidates should be able to check products and packaging for basic quality defects
- The candidates should be able to assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties
- The candidates should be able to clean machines and immediate work areas
- The candidates should be able to wrap and package prepared meats
