Salary: $20.00 to $21.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Calgary, AB
Work setting: Willing to relocate for a meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate a strong client focus and exhibit reliability in their duties while being team players
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate food safety and handling skills effectively and transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials safely
- The candidates should be able to measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines accurately, provide excellent customer service, and remove filled containers from conveyors promptly
- The candidates should be able to manually pack goods into bags, boxes, or other containers efficiently, check products and packaging for basic quality defects meticulously, and assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties diligently
- The candidates should be able to clean machines and immediate work areas thoroughly
