Shift: 5 days x 8 hours, M -F, Start Time NOON OR 4 days x 10 hours with Start Time 11.00 AM (Thursday OFF)

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates should have High School Diploma or GED Equivalency
Experience: Candidates should have 3 years fleet, automotive, or truck vehicle maintenance experience
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates must have the ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
- The candidates should be capable of lifting and maneuvering heavy vehicle components above 70 lbs with the help of appropriate lifting mechanical assistance
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be an Automotive Service Technician or Truck & Coach Technician
- The candidates should have completion of a vehicle apprentice program with a certified diploma is required
- The candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record
- The candidates should have a working knowledge of the use and operation of all service garage equipment, testing equipment, gauges, and tools normally associated with troubleshooting and repair of gasoline, diesel, and propane equipment
- The candidates should have basic electronic troubleshooting skills and possession of a complete set of hand tools, including metric sizes,
- The candidates should have Basic Inter/Intranet skills, along with proficiency in MS Office, Basic Word, and Outlook
- The candidates should have valid driver’s license such as Class 5,G, or 1[AZ] and a driving record with two or fewer violations and/or accidents in the 24 months prior to the date of application
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform all other duties as assigned
- The candidates should be able to complete and achieve minimum thresholds on any mandatory testing and training
- The candidates should be able to operate in a PC Windows environment
- The candidates should be able to have the ability to successfully complete all recurrence training and maintain annual accreditations where applicable
- The candidates should be able to work varying shifts based on business needs
- The candidates should be able to provide timely, quality, cost-effective maintenance for FedEx Express vehicle fleet and ground support equipment
- The candidates should be able to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications, and documentation
