Salary: $24.00 to $26.50 hourly (To be negotiated) for 35 to 44 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Winnipeg, MB
Shifts: Day, Overtime
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be physically fit to perform physically demanding tasks, able to bend, crouch, and kneel as required, and capable of handling heavy loads as part of their duties
- The candidates should be able to work effectively under pressure and handle weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as necessary
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing circumstances and show initiative in problem-solving and taking on new challenges
- The candidates should be organized in managing tasks and responsibilities, reliable in fulfilling their duties consistently, and work effectively as part of a team, fostering collaboration
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to move tools, equipment, and other materials, hold stakes during surveying activities, and perform miscellaneous laboring activities to help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed
- The candidates should be able to signal safety procedures to other workers and to the general public and clean machines and immediate work areas
