Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have a high School Diploma or GED Equivalency
Experience: Candidates should have 3 years fleet, automotive, or truck vehicle maintenance experience

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have the ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
  • The candidates should be able to lift and maneuver heavy vehicle components above 70 lbs with the help of appropriate lifting mechanical assistance

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be Automotive Service Technicians or Truck & Coach Technicians
  • The candidates should be completed a vehicle apprentice program with a certified diploma
  • The candidates should possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record
  • The candidates should have a working knowledge of the use and operation of all service garage equipment and testing equipment, gauges, and tools normally associated with troubleshooting and repair of gasoline, diesel, and propane equipment
  • The candidates should have basic electronic troubleshooting skills
  • The candidates should possess a complete set of hand tools, including metric sizes
  • The candidates should preferably have basic Inter/Intranet skills, MS Office, and Basic Word, Outlook preferred

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to provide timely, quality, cost-effective maintenance for the FedEx Express vehicle fleet and ground support equipment
  • The candidates should be able to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications, and documentation as required
