Salary: $11,944.38 to $15,772.04 bi-weekly (To be negotiated) for 36.25 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry, or equivalent experience, and cell/cellular biology and anatomical sciences, other
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Area of specialization: Pathology
Credentials: Specialty residency training and Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Examination

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to assist with or perform autopsies and surgical specimen examinations under pathologists’ supervision
  • The candidates should be able to remove organs and tissue specimens from bodies in the morgue as directed by the pathologist
  • The candidates should be able to supervise and train junior resident pathologists and morgue attendants
