Salary: $17.00 hourly for 35 to 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift
Transportation information: Travel expenses not paid by employer
Work setting: Hospital or home for the aged and Nursing home/home for the aged
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Credentials: Moving Patients Safety Principles (MPSP) training and CPR Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities, ensuring their safety and enjoyment, and perform other duties related to patient care and comfort as needed
- The candidates should be able to perform other duties related to personal care, addressing individual patient needs, and supply and empty bed pans promptly and discreetly
- The candidates should be able to serve meal trays and feed patients with care and attention, make beds and maintain patients’ rooms in a clean and orderly manner, and bathe, dress, and groom patients with sensitivity and respect for their dignity
- The candidates should be able to answer call signals promptly to determine patients’ needs and provide assistance, and administer first aid in emergency situations, ensuring timely and appropriate care
