Salary: $28.50 to $32.00 hourly (To be negotiated) 30 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Equipment and machinery experience: Deburrer, Hand tools, Lifting device, Wheelabrator, Shotblaster
Type of industry experience: Metal products manufacturing
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Credentials: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
- The candidates should be able to do manual dexterity
- The candidates should be able to work in noisy area, hot area, and dusty area
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be dependable, flexible, and reliable
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale and other materials from surfaces of metal products, immerse metal products in cleaning solutions
- The candidates should be able to assist structural steel and plate work fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators or other metal workers, sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal and other materials
- The candidates should be able to grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools, clean machines and immediate work areas
- The candidates should be able to transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment
- The candidates should be able to load and unload vehicle
- The candidates should be able to polish metal products to mirror finish
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret work orders
