Position: Motorman/woman – oil and gas drilling

Salary: $76,650 to $92,000 annually (To be negotiated) for 2190 hours per year
Employment Type: Term or contract Full time
Location: 611 Torbay Rd #1st, St. John’s, NL A1A 5J1, Canada
Work setting: Offshore drilling rig
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 month
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate and maintain drilling mud systems and pumps, operate hydraulic pumping systems, and operate and maintain drilling rig diesel motors, transmissions, and other mechanical equipment
- The candidates should be able to read gauges to interpret conditions and adjust pumping procedures, and assist in setting up, taking down, and transporting drilling and service rigs
