We specialize in growing a wide variety of mushrooms, including button mushrooms, portobello mushrooms, cremini mushrooms, and specialty varieties. Bradner Mushroom Farm employs advanced cultivation techniques and strict quality control measures to ensure the optimal growth and quality of our mushrooms. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible. The position of Mushroom picker is approved by LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment)

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Equipment and machinery experience: Pickers

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive taskers
  • The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to do cleaning crop and grading
  • The candidates should be able to do hand harvesting vegetables and pick row and orchard crops
  • The candidates should be able to clean work area, sort and pack fruits and vegetables
  • The candidates should be able to load, unload and transfer crates, supplies and farm produce, livestock and poultry, plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
  • The candidates should be able to examine produce for quality and prepare for market
