Work setting: Employer’s home and Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Security and safety: Vulnerable sector check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smokers and capable of efficiently handling repetitive tasks
- The candidates should exhibit a strong attention to detail in their work
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in their work and show initiative in taking on tasks
- The candidates should exhibit good judgment in decision-making and be highly organized in their approach
- The candidates should be reliable in fulfilling their responsibilities and effective team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents
- The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
- The candidates should be able to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- The candidates should be able to organize activities such as games and outings for children, prepare and serve nutritious meals, and prepare infants and children for rest periods
- The candidates should be able to take children to and from school and to appointments, as well as tend to the emotional well-being of children
