Work setting: Employer’s home and work in employer’s/client’s home
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Security and safety: Bondable, criminal record check, and reference required
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smoking individuals who can maintain a scent-free environment
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household, including performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and traveling with the family on trips to assist with child supervision
- The candidates should be capable of bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and children, and disciplining them according to the methods requested by the parents
- The candidates should be able to instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, keep records of daily activities and health information, and organize games and outings for children
- The candidates should be proficient in preparing and serving nutritious meals, sterilizing bottles, preparing formulas, and changing diapers for infants
- The candidates should be responsible for supervising and caring for children, taking them to and from school and appointments, tending to their emotional well-being, and assisting them with homework
