Shifts: Day, Morning
Transportation information: Public transportation is available
Work setting: Employer’s home, Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis, and Work in employer’s/client’s home
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smokers
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- The candidates should be able to shop for food and household supplies, travel with the family on trips, and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
- The candidates should be able to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, and organize activities such as games and outings for children
- The candidates should be able to supervise and care for children, take children to and from school and appointments, tend to the emotional well-being of children, and help children with homework
