Salary: $15.00 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Term or contract Part time leading to full time

Shifts: Flexible Hours, To be determined
Transportation information: Travel expenses not paid by employer
Work setting: Employer’s home, optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment, rural area, work in employer’s/client’s home, relocation costs not covered by employer, and willing to relocate
Target audience: Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children, children
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Asset languages: Filipino
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Security and safety: Bondable
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smokers and willing to work overtime as required
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and excel in oral and written communication, demonstrating flexibility in their approach to tasks
- The candidates should show initiative in problem-solving and be organized in their work habits, reliable in meeting commitments, and exhibit patience in dealing with various situations
- The candidates should demonstrate honesty in their actions and communications
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to change diapers and follow parents’ lead with toilet training, as well as perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- The candidates should be able to travel with the family on trips, assisting with child supervision and housekeeping duties, and bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
- The candidates should be able to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- The candidates should be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals, supervise and care for children, take children to and from school and appointments, and help children with homework
