Private Households based in North York, ON is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Nanny. Private Households value the importance of family and the well-being of children. We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nanny to join our loving household. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Work setting: Employer’s home, Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment and Work in the employer’s/client’s home
Target audience: School age (6 – 12 years)
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Credentials: CPR Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a non-smoking area
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, and instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- The candidates should be able to maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, organize activities such as games and outings for children, and prepare and serve nutritious meals
- The candidates should be able to supervise and care for children, take children to and from school and to appointments, and tend to the emotional well-being of children
