Target audience: Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to uphold a non-smoking policy
- The candidates should be able to maintain a scent-free environment
- The candidates should be able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate client focus and exhibit efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should be able to showcase flexibility, take initiative, and exercise good judgment in decision-making
- The candidates should be able to be organized in their tasks, show reliability in completing assignments, and effectively manage their time
- The candidates should be able to work well as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizen and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position.
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household, performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and shopping for food and household supplies in the absence of parents
- The candidates should be able to travel with the family on trips, assisting with child supervision, housekeeping duties, and organizing activities such as games and outings for children
- The candidates should be able to bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, discipline them according to the methods requested by the parents, and instruct them in personal hygiene and social development
- The candidates should be able to maintain a safe and healthy environment, prepare and serve nutritious meals, prepare infants and children for rest periods, sterilize bottles, prepare formulas, change diapers, supervise and care for children, and take them to and from school and appointments while tending to their emotional well-being
