Transportation information: Public transportation is available, Travel expenses paid by employer.
Work setting: Employer’s home, Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment.
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate client focus, exhibit efficient interpersonal skills, and possess excellent oral communication skills
- The candidates should be able to showcase flexibility, take initiative, and exercise good judgment in decision-making
- The candidates should be able to be organized in their tasks, show reliability in completing assignments, work well as a team player, and effectively manage their time
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household, performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties, washing, ironing, and pressing clothing and household linens, and organizing activities such as games and outings for children in the absence of parents
- The candidates should be able to bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, discipline them according to the methods requested by the parents, and instruct them in personal hygiene and social development
- The candidates should be able to maintain a safe and healthy environment, prepare and serve nutritious meals, prepare infants and children for rest periods, sterilize bottles, prepare formulas, change diapers, supervise and care for children, take them to and from school and appointments, and tend to their emotional well-being
- The candidates should be able to help children with homework
