Salary: $19.00 hourly for 30 hours per week

Shifts: Day
Transportation information: Public transportation is available
Work setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment, work in employer’s/client’s home, room and board provided
Target audience: Children, kindergarten age (4 – 5 years)

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Security and safety: Reference required, vulnerable sector check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be non-smokers

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
  • The candidates should be able to bathe, dress, feed infants and children, discipline them according to parents’ methods, and instruct them in personal hygiene and social development
  • The candidates should be able to keep records of daily activities and health information, organize activities, prepare and serve nutritious meals, prepare infants and children for rest periods, supervise and care for children, take them to and from school and appointments, tend to their emotional well-being, and help them with homework
