Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Computer and technology knowledge: Device drivers, Networking software, Networking hardware, Networking security, Intranet, Internet, Servers, Desktop applications, File management software, Security software, Mail server software, Website creation and management software, MS Office, MS Windows

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be a repetitive tasker
  • The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be accurate, client focus, organized, initiative, and judgmental
  • The candidates should have excellent oral communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to maintain, troubleshoot, and administer the use of LANs, WANs, mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment
  • The candidates should be able to evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software, and operate master consoles to monitor system performance and coordinate network access
  • The candidates should be able to load computer tapes and disks, install software, printer paper, and forms, and provide problem-solving services to network users
  • The candidates should be able to implement data, software, and hardware security procedures, perform routine network start-up and close down, and maintain control records
  • The candidates should be able to perform data backups, disaster recovery operations, and set up local area networks and connections to the Internet
  • The candidates should be able to implement network traffic and security monitoring software, optimize server performance, and modify web pages, applets, and scripts
  • The candidates should be able to respond to requests for help and information from website visitors and website designers
