Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a College/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to maintain, troubleshoot, and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, computer workstations, and peripheral equipment, evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software
  • The candidates should be able to operate master consoles to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks and coordinate access and use of computer networks, load computer tapes and disks, install software, printer paper, and forms, and provide problem-solving services to network users
  • The candidates should be able to implement data, software, and hardware security procedures, perform routine network start-up and close-down, maintain control records, perform data backups, disaster recovery operations, install, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade web-server hardware and software, and set up local area networks and connections to the Internet
  • The candidates should be able to implement network traffic and security monitoring software, optimize server performance, modify web pages, applets, and scripts, respond to requests for help and information from website visitors and website designers, and perform web-server backup and recovery operations
