Salary: $60,000 to $70,000 annually (To be negotiated) 40 hours per week

Supervision: 1 to 2 people
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Communication protocols: Signaling System 7 (SS7), Ethernet, HTTP, TCP/IP, LAN, SNMP, WAN
Computer and technology knowledge: Bourne-again shell, Shell script, Environment – Centralized, Environment – Client/Server, Linux, XML, Java, Oracle Solaris, Hadoop, Unix, Perl, Python
Hardware development: ASIC, FPGA, Verilog, VHDL
Area of work experience: Research and development
Area of specialization: System integration, Telecommunications, Testing, Project management, Networks
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to work in tight deadlines
- The candidates should be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be accurate, client focus, organized, initiative, and judgmental

Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assess, document and optimize the capacity and performance of information and communication system networks, research, design and develop information and communication system network architecture
- The candidates should be able to lead and co-ordinate teams of design professionals in the development and integration of information and communication system architecture, hardware and software
- The candidates should be able to research, evaluate and integrate network system and data communication hardware and software
- The candidates should be able to analyze user’s requirements, and design and develop system architecture and specifications
- The candidates should be able to develop and conduct design verification simulations and prototype bench tests of components
- The candidates should be able to supervise, inspect and provide design support during the manufacturing, installation and implementation of computer and telecommunications hardware
- The candidates should be able to research, design, develop and integrate computer and telecommunications hardware
