Salary: $35.00 to $42.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 37 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: North Vancouver, BC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Vehicle supplied by employer, Willing to travel regularly, Valid driver’s licence, Travel expenses paid by employer, Public transportation is available
Work setting: Relocation costs covered by employer, Remote location and Various locations
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 years to less than 5 years
Equipment and machinery experience: Concrete vibrators, Concrete saws, Mortar and concrete mixers, Pumpcretes, Air compressors, Air guns, Compactor, Sandblasters
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots and Safety glasses/goggles
Credentials: Concrete pump operator Licence and First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Bondable, Criminal record check and Driving record check (abstract)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, underground, and in noisy, dusty environments as required, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment and managing tasks efficiently
- The candidates should be physically fit, able to handle heavy loads, possess manual dexterity, and lift weights of up to 45 kg (100 lbs) for certain job responsibilities
- The candidates should be adept at handling repetitive tasks efficiently and accurately, willing and able to work under tight deadlines and overtime to meet project demands

- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication and collaboration with colleagues and clients, and exhibit flexibility, adapting readily to changing tasks, schedules, and work environments
- The candidates should demonstrate reliability, consistently fulfilling their duties and commitments to the team and organization, and be team players, working collaboratively to achieve shared objectives and foster a positive work environment
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials, erect and dismantle various structures, and assist heavy equipment operators
- The candidates should be able to mix, pour, spread materials, assist in drilling and blasting rock, and pave and rake asphalt on construction sites
- The candidates should be able to clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and tend or feed machines and equipment used in construction
