Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Repetitive machining operation experience: Drilling
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be reliable
- The candidates should have ability to multitask, and excellent oral communication
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizen and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position.
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret blueprints
- The candidates should be able to operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations
- The candidates should be able to verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
- The candidates should be able to prepare etching solution and immerse metal parts or workpiece into the etching solution to remove unwanted portions
- The candidates should be able to perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery
- The candidates should be able to enter codes specifying speed, feed and cut of the tool path for computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools
- The candidates should be able to clean and maintain work space
