Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Credentials: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be physically fit and able to meet the demands of a physically demanding job
- The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in their work
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking as required by the job duties
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to supply and empty bedpans for patients, take patients’ blood pressure, temperature, and pulse accurately and record the measurements, and serve meal trays to patients, ensuring cleanliness, accuracy, and hygiene
- The candidates should be able to weigh, lift, turn, and position patients safely and with proper techniques to prevent injury, make beds, and maintain patients’ rooms in a clean and organized manner, maintaining inventory of supplies needed for patient care and restocking as necessary
- The candidates should be able to bathe, dress, and groom patients with care and respect for their dignity and privacy, collect specimens from patients for testing as directed by medical staff, and accompany patients on outside recreational activities, performing other duties related to patient care and comfort as needed
