Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Morning
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and physically fit to meet the demands of a physically demanding job
- The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks and handle heavy loads
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and bend, crouch, and kneel as required
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to hand harvest vegetables and assist in pruning trees, shrubs, and plants
- The candidates should be able to mix fertilizer, apply fertilizers, and mix and prepare soils
- The candidates should be able to tie and secure plants, pot and re-pot plants, and report signs of insect or disease damage
- The candidates should be able to train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality and water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
- The candidates should be able to weed and clean the work area
- The candidates should be able to spray or dust plants with insecticides and fungicides
