Salary: $18.00 to $30.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 10 to 50 hours per week
Employment Type: Term or contract Part time
Location: 721-10 Street Wainwright, AB T9W 1P3
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Overtime, On Call, Flexible Hours, To be determined, Morning
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence, Own transportation and Drive manual transmission vehicle
Work setting: Rural area

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Safety glasses/goggles and Gloves
Credentials: First Aid Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, CPR Certificate, Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate, Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
Security and safety: Driver’s validity licence check and Driving record check (abstract)

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities, deadlines, and demonstrating the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • The candidates should have a strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks and responsibilities, while being prepared to work in wet or damp environments
  • The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout their workday, potentially outdoors in varying weather conditions, and in noisy environments
  • The candidates should be aware of potential workplace dangers, follow safety protocols accordingly, and be tolerant of odours present in the work environment
  • The candidates should be able to work in confined spaces as needed for certain tasks or projects, remaining calm and focused to meet tight deadlines and deliver results

  • The candidates should be accurate in their work, demonstrating attention to detail, precision, and efficiency in interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should be excellent in oral and written communication, conveying ideas clearly, effectively, and with precision

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to set up machines and equipment accurately and efficiently for production purposes, as well as train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure compliance and promote a safe working environment
