Salary: $30.00 to $40.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 to 60 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime, On Call, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning, 07:00 to 19:00
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence and Vehicle supplied by employer
Type of heating system: Oil
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Other trades certificate or diploma in Building/property maintenance
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Equipment and machinery experience: Burners, control devices, engines, and pumps
Credentials: Oil Burner Mechanic (Residential) Trade Certification
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be experienced in on-site customer service
- The candidates should have a background in commercial activities
- The candidates should be willing to relocate, with relocation costs covered by the employer
- The candidates should have a residential status and be willing to relocate for the position
- The candidates should be physically capable of handling demanding tasks
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads as part of their responsibilities
- The candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods during work
- The candidates should be proficient in bending, crouching, and kneeling as needed
- The candidates should possess a keen attention to detail
- The candidates should demonstrate manual dexterity in performing tasks

Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning oil burners, as well as their components and controls
- The candidates should be able to lay out oil burner heating system components and assemble components using hand and power tools
- The candidates should be able to test installed units and adjust controls for proper functioning
- The candidates should be able to perform scheduled maintenance and service
- The candidates should be able to install oil burner components and connect them to the fuel supply, ventilation, and electrical system
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
- The candidates should be able to install, repair, and maintain domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
