Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to efficiently pick and assemble orders from various temperature areas with great care and quality in mind to achieve “On Time” delivery to customers
- The candidates should be able to pack orders with attention to detail, including distinguishing between similar named products, exact quantity, and correct product codes
- The candidates should be able to ensure that products picked are of the highest quality, such as no damaged products and freshest product selection
- The candidates should be able to correctly document and label all orders through interpretation and understanding documentation, including pick slips, packaging details, and shipping labels
- The candidates should be able to optimize tote fill by packing orders in a space-efficient manner while still ensuring product quality standards are maintained
- The candidates should be able to balance fulfillment responsibilities with customer interaction and offering service, including supporting issues to resolution
- The candidates should be able to ensure strict adherence to safety and food hygiene standards, including maintaining a clean and hygienic work area, immediate cleanup of all spills and debris, ensuring all totes are clean and void of debris before packing, operating material handling equipment in a safe and responsible manner, and completing all safety pre-inspection checks before use
- The candidates should be able to participate in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting changes in operational procedures, productivity standards and efficiencies, customer satisfaction, safety, working conditions, and quality standards
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate flexibility in completing/adjusting work assignments based on customer requests and meeting daily delivery schedules
