Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working in confined spaces and adaptable to dusty working conditions
- The candidates should be able to work in hot environments and be capable of working in noisy surroundings
- The candidates should be adept at working in a fast-paced environment and efficient in performing repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads and physically demanding tasks, possess manual dexterity, and demonstrate strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling, able to manage a large workload, and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- The candidates should have the ability to distinguish between colors, be adaptable to a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and comfortable standing for extended periods while being adaptable to sitting as needed
- The candidates should be capable of handling weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to build pallets, load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment, and operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products
- The candidates should be able to ship orders, pick orders and stock, weigh materials and goods, make labels, attach them to goods, provide customer service, and wrap goods
- The candidates should be able to pack and unpack goods, sort, crate, and stack goods, install, lash, and secure goods, store cargo and materials, organize and maintain inventory, and operate computerized inventory control systems
