Salary: $20.00 hourly for 35 to 45 hours per week

Shifts: Day
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence
Work setting: Rural area and staff accommodation available
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Own tools/equipment: Safety equipment/gear, steel-toed safety boots, gloves
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be experienced in hay farming and knowledgeable about livestock combination farming
- The candidates should have expertise in organic farming methods and be familiar with other miscellaneous crop farming practices
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and have experience working with livestock
- The candidates should be able to work in all weather conditions
- The candidates should thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to work independently
- The candidates should be capable of handling physically demanding tasks and demonstrate attention to detail
- The candidates should possess hand-eye coordination skills and be comfortable standing for extended periods, as well as walking for prolonged periods, and capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling as required
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and demonstrate flexibility
- The candidates should be organized and exhibit good judgment, as well as be reliable
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to effectively weed fields and harvest crops
- The candidates should be able to perform general farm duties
