Physical Requirements:
- The candidates must be 16 years of age or older
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should maintain patient confidentiality and follow all practices consistent with the Privacy Act
- The candidates should work towards maximizing department sales and profit with direction from the Pharmacy Manager
- The candidates must rotate stock and regularly check for expired products
- The candidates should effectively zone the department
- The candidates must follow proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, and signing/flagging/pricing/labels
- The candidates should keep the area neat, clean, and organized, ensuring it is free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and liquids
- The candidates must aim to maintain zero pricing errors (i.e., Scanning Credibility Program)
- The candidates should be responsible for the calibration of equipment used in the prescription filling process
