- The candidate should be able to zone the department, rotate stock and check for expired products
- The candidate should be able to ensure merchandise is properly signed and priced, adhere to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates
- The candidate should be able to adhere to food safety and handling procedures and follow sanitation and cleaning procedures
- The candidate should be able to follow proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels and maintain features
- The candidate should be able to keep the area neat, clean, and organized, and free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and liquids
